Amongst other things this month the Dragonflies enjoyed making jelly. They had a look at a jelly cube before we started. They decided it was very squashy and squishy and smelled lovely, just like strawberries, which was a good thing (it was strawberry jelly!) Then we watched what happened when we added the hot water—it was magic! The jelly cubes disappeared. We had to leave it in the fridge...

The Butterfly group have been using the parachute in the outdoor area. We did some really good listening, and worked together to lift it high and keep it low, shake it fast and shake it slowly! Trying to keep one football on the parachute as we moved it was quite easy. Then two footballs! Yes we managed that! But three footballs? Too heavy! Today we are celebrating Scotland and the wonderful Rabbie Burns. I am of course extremely biased when extoling the virtues of Scotland – after all we all love home.
