We are very proud to be one of the few nursery schools in Cheshire West and Chester who are Makaton friendly. Makaton develops speech, language , and communication skills, using gestures and symbols, connecting people together. So when you come to school , don't forget to use your talking hands.
Helen Carpenter is no stranger to St Mary's and has been helping the school out in many different ways for over 25 years.Helen is a governor, has worked in the school ,and over the years has helped to raise thousands of pounds through the Friends of St Mary's. At the end of our summer term we have been taking part in all types of sports. It was time to get Emily our very special rocking horse out, for all the children to have a ride on. Emily has been a part of St Marys for many years. It was a special treat!
