Children were asked to wear something red for red nose day. During the sessions children made red nose puppets and if they wanted to , had their nose painted red. We even had red peppers for snack. A wonderful total of £109.71 was raised for a great cause. Thanks to all!
Storm Doris brought down lots of branches from the trees. Perfect for stick sculptures. Joining them together was tricky but eventually masking tape worked best. It was easiest to work with a friend. We made some amazing pieces of art:- a dragonfly, a bow and arrow and a springy thing! Come and see our display.
This term all the children took part in a local walk of the area. Finding out about the landmarks and recognising some familiar buildings. Thankyou to all the parent helpers who very kindly walked with us.
Many of our parents have kindly come into school this term to read stories to the children in different languages. We have also learnt some new words in the different languages.
We are very pleased to announce that Mr Marc Smith is our new parent governor. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Tom Parry who has served as a governor for a number of years. Mr Parry has now stepped down, but we thank him for his valued contribution to the school.
